Description and History
Kids First Pediatric Alliance was formed in 1997 as a reaction to competition in a pediatric marketplace by two dominant PHOs that left general pediatrics under-represented. Kids First stepped up to fill this gap and has grown ever since. Today, Kids First is Atlanta's voice for primary care pediatrics.
Because we are a physician-directed organization focused exclusively on general pediatrics, we understand the unique issues and challenges facing today's Pediatricians and their practices.
We offer a wide range of professional services, cost-savings benefits and forward-thinking initiatives that enhance today's pediatric practice and help it stay competitive in the future. It's a worthwhile investment.
Our alliance represents more than 180 primary care pediatric physicians from 37 practices and 50 geographically dispersed locations throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Our network physicians represent 54% of pediatric admissions and a substantial percentage of the pediatric lives in Metro Atlanta.
